Justice League author Chris Terrio provided new insights into how the DCEU’s early roadmap came about. According to Terrio, the release of these DC movies, but not story plans, determines the studio mandate, and this is one of the big takeaways in Vanity Fair’s new interview with Terrio, who also wrote Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before he was effectively excluded from the DCEU during the Justice League re-sessions. According to Terrio, there was little effort to coordinate story plans between films such as Justice League, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, only a mandate to ‘meet this schedule’.
