Justice League ‘Snyder cuts’ accidentally released on HBO Max Justice League

The long-awaited “Snyder clip” from the superhero movie Justice League was accidentally released on streaming service HBO Max on Monday before being removed.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, has customers trying to access the new Tom and Jerry movie, instead of the service playing Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which appears on March 19th. A user reported on social media that more than an hour of the film (which has an official running time of 242 minutes) was shown.

The new version was created after a fan campaign that began after the release of the original film in 2017, to unprinted reviews. It starred Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, who teamed up to fight the supervillain Steppenwolf.

Snyder, the director of the film, left the project in May 2017 during production after the death of his daughter. Joss Whedon, who co-wrote the screenplay for the film and directed Marvel superhero films The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, took over and apparently staged extensive re-sessions.

After the movie was removed from HBO Max, notices of removal were allegedly sent to social media users who posted screenshots of the movie.
