Zack Snyder’s Justice League will soon appear on HBO Max and a preview of Henry Cavill’s Superman Black suit has been released in HD.
An HD grip of Superman in his black suit has been released from Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The four-hour version of Snyder’s original vision is set to be released on HBO Max in March. The director bothers what the film envisions, including a complicated history for Victor Stone, AKA Cyborg, and a new look for Jared Leto’s Joker.
With a few more hours and Snyder temporarily back in the DCEU, the director promised many surprises for the film. Snyder’s vision for the DCEU, which he helped get off the ground with 2013s Man of steel, was compromised after he left Justice League in 2017. Fans campaigned for the green light to complete his original vision, but DC Films made it clear that they were no longer interested.
Luckily for fans of the director, Snyder will at least have his true vision for Justice League and that has always included Superman’s black suit. Justice Con put the track that was originally shown last summer in full HD. The clip shows how Superman arrives at Bruce Wayne’s estate, with the terrifying Alfred. Superman says: ‘I assume you must be Alfred, “before cutting to black.
Snyder tried to sneak into the black suit in his original cut in the post-production, but his departure made it impossible. Managers at Warner Bros. were not fans of the black suit, although the creator of the comics gave his stamp of approval. The reluctance of the studio towards the black suit is strange, especially if it is in line with the cartoon arc from which the suit is hoisted. When Superman is resurrected after his death in the hand of Doomsday, he returns in the black suit.
Snyder said the suit itself was important to the overall bow he had in mind for Cavill’s Superman. According to Snyder, there was a five-movie plan with which Cavill’s Superman would become the idealized version of the character. The black suit was used to emphasize the evolution of the character from his humble beginnings in Man of steel through his period of darkness in Justice League, ends as Snyder calls “the classic Superman. “Unfortunately, that arc will probably never come to fruition, as Snyder’s time in the DCEU has been cut short. Justice League will at least give fans a bit of the bow, but it will also be a reminder of everything that never came into being.
