Juelz Santana a judge has just denied his big trip to sunny South Florida – after the rival claimed the rapper failed a drug test – but his team believes it was a mistake.
According to new legal documents, the Dipset MC asked permission to fly down to Miami for work this month, but when he asked the court for approval, federal officials said he did not follow the rules of his release under supervision, and a judge puts the kibosh on the whole case.
Remember … Juelz is under surveillance after serving 19 months in prison as part of a 27-month sentence in his airport drug case. He must therefore obtain permission to travel and take outside NJ compulsory drug tests.
In the documents obtained by TMZ, the federal manager claims that Juelz intended to travel to Miami with two convicted criminals – a no-no under supervision – and the assistant US lawyer also says that his recent urine sample tested positive for opiates and methadone.
Add it all up, and the judge eventually denied the request.
Juelz’s attorney, Jef Henninger, tells TMZ … Juelz will follow the rules for travel requests going forward and will hang out with ‘the right people’. We are told that his camp believes the drug test was false positive.
