A source told THR that Gadot, who played Wonder Woman in the 2017 superhero film, was among several actors alleged to have been abused by the director and ‘Buffy’ creator.

The friction reportedly began after the “Alien Resurrection” writer pressured the 35-year-old Gadot to say, according to the source, lines she did not feel comfortable with. He also allegedly threatened to torpedo the actress’ career.

A witness to the allegation claimed against THR that ‘Joss boasts that after one particularly cruel dispute he had it with Gal. ‘

Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in ‘Justice League’, has long spoken out about alleged abuse of Whedon. He told The Hollywood Reporter about an incident in which Whedon spurred him on to record the line ‘booya’, which he analyzed with Gary Coleman’s’ whatchoo talkin ‘about Willis’ and other stereotypical black keywords.

When he reluctantly agreed, Whedon apparently mocked him.

Fisher previously accused the director of The Avengers of “rude” and “unacceptable” behavior during the filming – an allegation confirmed by his co-star Jason Momoa.

Meanwhile, Whedon has apparently clashed with other “Justice League” actors ranging from Momoa to Jeremy Irons, reports THR.

This is not the first time the filmmaker has been in the hot seat lately. Whedon is currently facing the abuse of several stars of his vampire series “Buffy”, including Charisma Carpenter and Michelle Trachtenberg.
