The stars of Minnesota Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods, the former friend of Kylie Jenner, denied that they cheated on fraud that appeared on Instagram on Thursday. The two accused an Instagram page of making a fake screenshot that allegedly shows Towns, 25, chatting with another woman in December with Woods, 23. In one of his tweets Thursday, Towns even suggested he would be ready to introduce Woods.

The Instagram page Gossip of the city allegedly shared a screenshot of Instagram private messages between Towns and another woman. In one message, Towns tells the unknown woman, “Love you.” Gossip of the city claims that the December screenshot is back. Woods and Towns started dating last year.

Towns and Woods did not let the rumor sit for long before denying it. “So crazy how someone can make fake screenshots and post them to blogs and believe it’s crying out loud, my relationship is more than solid and I put it on everything,” Woods tweeted. She later said Woods does not even talk like that and remarks, “I do not normally address anything, but what you are not going to do is play with my husband’s character.”

Towns joined in and responded to one of Woods’ tweets. “Lots of goofies out there with photoshop skills,” he wrote, adding a laughing emoji. “I got the worst girl in the game and you think I’m going to waste my energy with someone else,” Towns wrote in another tweet. “GTFOH! The same haters we got now will be the same as us when I put the ring on her finger.” Woods retweeted both Towns’ tweets.

The person who allegedly sent the messages to Towns was model Camila Kendra E! News. Kendra is now in a relationship with Tyler Cameron, the Bachelor Nation star, and she took her Instagram story to also label the screenshot as fake. “False news,” she wrote. “Not sure why people find it amusing [create] fake pages and create messages that never happened. ‘

Woods gained notoriety through her association with Jenner, as they were best friends and even lived together. The two have not been seen in public since February 2019, when Woods attended a house party with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian, then boyfriend. Woods allegedly kissed Thompson during the party and later denied that there was anything between her and Thompson on Red Table Talk. Thompson and Kardashian have reconciled, but there is no public hint that Jenner and Woods are on better terms today.

Woods and Towns started dating last year. They have appeared several times on each other’s Instagram pages. Towns, whose mother died of the coronavirus last year, shared photos of himself with Woods on a beach in September. “There is darkness in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights,” he wrote in the caption.
