Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones tweeted the UFC 259 main line between Israel Adesanya and Jan Blachowicz directly and thwarted the middleweight champion’s attempt to win a second belt.
Blachowicz singled out Adesanya on Saturday with a unanimous decision at UFC APEX. But long before the scorecards were announced, Jones wrote off his rival Adesanya on Twitter, where he has repeatedly slammed ‘The Last Stylebender’ over the past year.
Adesanya booked a showdown with Jones by the end of the year. But ‘Bones’, who is expected to meet the winner of the UFC 260 rematch between heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou, despised the idea after UFC 259 ended.
Here’s what Jones had to say about the fight while it was playing.
Can’t wait to let this bitch eat his words
