JoJo Siwa issues statement after board games with her name were deemed inappropriate by parents

JoJo Siwa pronounced her after lending her name to a board game for children that some parents consider inappropriate.

Nickelodeon recently launched a board game for kids called ‘JoJo’s Juice’ with questions players have to answer, but the 17-year-old influencer claims she was not aware of all the content.

Page Six reports that some parents were upset to see questions like, “Have you ever walked in on someone naked or has anyone walked in on you?” and “Have you ever gone outside without underwear (a swimsuit does not count)?”

“We respect and appreciate the relationship that JoJo Siwa has with her fans, and take the concern about the game ‘JoJo’s Juice’ very seriously. This game is no longer produced and we have requested retailers to remove any remaining products from their shelves , ” reads a joint statement from Nickelodeon and Spin Master provided to Fox News.

The popular celebrity shared a video message on Tuesday explaining the situation and speaking out unequivocally against the board game.

This is not the first time the star has experienced controversy over a product with her name on it. In June, the Dance Moms star suffered a setback after Claire had to recall her makeup set after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found that the powder eye shadow tested positive for asbestos, a toxic material that can lead to asbestosis and lung cancer.
