Have mercy! John Stamos gave a sweet exclamation to Elizabeth Olsen on his Instagram on Friday in honor of the final “WandaVision”.
Olsen’s two older sisters – a commitment that surprised a large part of the internet in some way – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen played with Stamos in “Full House” for all eight seasons of the show and the role shared by Michelle Tanner. During those eight years, Elizabeth Olsen sat behind the scenes – a lot.
In an interview with SiriusXM in January, Olsen joked: “My earliest memories of the program are mostly aftercare.” According to the actress, she will usually be picked up from school and go straight to be with her family. So, in honor of Friday’s “WandaVision” finale, Stamos sends her a little love along with a beautiful throw-back photo of him embracing a young Olsen.

“One day she’s a little girl wandering around in the set, and the next thing you know, she’s taking over an entire city, and the citizens love playing her favorite TV sitcoms! Stamos endorsed the photo. “They grow up so fast.”
“WandaVision” itself did have a short tribute to “Full House” in the fifth episode of the season. In the opening credits, the camera starts on Wanda and Vision walking through the grass with their sons Billy and Tommy, reflecting the scene of the Tanner family doing the same in the earliest ‘Full House’ title series.
Shortly afterwards, the Vision family sits on a picnic in the same field, just like the Tanners at the end of their title montage.

Many fans also believe that the choice to let Wanda and Vision become parents of twins in the 80’s episode is also a nod to ‘Full House’ in honor of Olsen’s twin sisters. (Although convenient, it’s actually part of Marvel’s comic history that Wanda and Vision have twins).
