In the eighth inning of Saturday’s game against Cleveland, Reds deliveryman Amir Garrett gave up consecutive singles that put runners on the corners without exception. Josh Naylor, followed by a ball to the first base, where Joey Votto caught the ball and scored Franmil Reyes. Thinking the ball falls to the ground first, Eddie Rosario goes home when Votto holds the ball and waits.

Votto threw the ball to third base, where Rosario was out in a triple way. It was the 31st triple play in Reds history and the first time in Cincinnati since Todd Frazier completed the performance on July 25, 2017 at Yankee Stadium.
