Joel Embiid jokes FIFA is tougher than protecting Anthony Davis

With the Philadelphia 76ers in first place in the Eastern Conference, you better believe that Joel Embiid is in the best troll form.

The Sixers Center appears in a video from YouTuber ChuBoi focusing on his love for the FIFA video game series. At one point, host Embiid asked a pointed question about a FIFA game mode and the star power forward of the Los Angeles Lakers:

“Harder, to play FUT Champs or protect AD?”

After a few moments – probably spent calculating the most vicious answer possible – Embiid replied, “Play FUT Champs.”

That will get the Lakers fans going.

In Embiid’s defense, he has at least some right to trolley Anthony Davis and the Lakers thanks to the Sixers’ victory over the Lakers on Wednesday (less so when it comes to championship rings). Embiid in particular had a few words for Davis’ teammate LeBron James about a dangerous push in the third quarter.

Davis has been in a slump to some extent over the past few weeks and has been unable to score 20 points in six of his last eight games. He scored the point against Embiid’s Sixers by 23 points, funny enough, but the Lakers were still defeated by four points when he was on the floor.
