We learned Joe’s dad, Francis Schreibvogel, passed away recently due to COVID complications … The funeral is on Saturday in Oklahoma and Joe desperately wants to go.
TMZ broke the story … Joe’s legal team will fly to Washington DC today and fight for the pardon, but now there’s an extra urgency as the funeral bell rings.
As we reported, Joe’s legal team led by Eric Liefde, has rented a jet with a Joe / ‘Tiger King’ wrap they fly to DC … make it a show. Love told TMZ he has a big meeting with someone related to the White House / forgiveness, but he does not say who.
As Trump do not give the pardon, they have a plan B … to go to a judge and to ask for a day card – essentially a temporary release – so that Joe can attend his father’s funeral.
As we previously reported … the ‘Tiger King’ legal entity take the road for DC back in May by bus wrapped in a plea to make Joe jump out of jail. They believe the pardon is at stake.
