President Joe Biden lost his footing – several times – while on board Air Force One on Friday, causing the 78-year-old president of the United States to stumble several times.
Biden grabs the railing only to step on it again before falling to his knees.
Karine Jean-Pierre, deputy press secretary of the White House, said the president was doing well after the incident.
“I can tell you he’s doing well, he’s preparing for the trip today, and he’s just doing well,” Jean-Pierre told reporters.
As you can see, he composed himself and saluted before entering Air Force One.
The president’s step up the stairs quickly started a firestorm of internet memes as you would expect.
