Joan Collins received the COVID-19 vaccine, she announced to fans Sunday.
The 87-year-old Dynasty star posted a photo of herself – wearing a face mask and floral print dress – receiving the jab at a London doctor’s office.
The English actress told fans that she was “delighted” to receive the vaccine, which she said was from AstraZeneca. The vaccine was approved by the United Kingdom at the end of December, but has not yet been approved in the United States, where it is in the midst of a vaccination study.
The British lady called her vaccination a ‘painless and seamless procedure’, which she did on the same day as our queen, referring to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip who announced on Saturday that they had also received the vaccine.
Other celebrities in the UK – who prioritize citizens aged 80 and older, after residents and staff of old age homes – include 81-year-old actor Ian McKellen, who said he was ‘euphoric’ about his first round in mid-December receive. and Great British baking show judge Prue Leith (80).
Collins also told Instagram fans that she will appear in Good Morning Britain on Monday to share more information about her vaccination.
