Jimmy Butler is a bit of a renaissance man. He branched out from his basketball world last season by opening his “Big Face Coffee” store in the Orlando bubble, and asked his teammates smartly $ 20 a cup to know how limited their other options were. However, if he plans to start a play as his next venture out of court, he may want to stick to his day job.

In the final seconds of a solid win over the New York Knicks, Butler was sent off by Julius Randle. In a desperate attempt to upgrade the call to a blatant mistake, Butler rolled on the floor in apparent pain. The problem? He could not help peeking to see how the officials reacted. A Thespian, Butler is not.

It is not surprising that the incident is considered a common offense. Butler got up, scraped it off and made one of his two free throw attempts. RJ Barrett missed his attempt at play, and the Heat walked away with a 98-96 victory. Butler’s actions ultimately had no impact on the outcome.

But hey, it never hurts to test some of your career ambitions while you’re still on the floor. Maybe Butler wants to be a movie star when he’s ready to hang up his sneakers. However, if that is the plan, he will need an acting coach. This action did not predictably mislead anyone.
