The American rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, claimed Wednesday that part of the Capitol story was presented to Trump on January 6 during the Trump indictment.
Democrats have repeatedly stressed Trump’s fight like hell ‘remark during the protest, while seeking to convict Trump on a January 13 House indictment for an uprising. ‘
But at another point in his speech, Jordan noted, Trump urged his supporters to “make your voices heard peacefully and patriotically” – an awkward remark that apparently does not fit the Democrats’ story because they are a Trump pursue conviction.

Earlier in the day, Jordan warned that Democrats were trying to challenge Trump’s first amendment to free speech.
“The argument for the first amendment [made by Democrats against Trump] is very dangerous. … The President is engaged in constitutionally protected speech – speech protected by the First Amendment, the document … that we take the oath to uphold and they are going to try to accuse him of it. ‘

“How does it unite the country?” Jordan asks about the Democrats’ accusation. “How does this bring the nation together, what is it that Joe Biden said he wants to do on January 20?”

Later, on Fox News ‘”Hannity,” Jordan argued that the American public would ultimately not stand for the hypocrisy suggested by the Democrats’ indictments.
“Democrats said last summer – Democratic members of Congress – that there should be more unrest in the streets, while there was unrest in the streets – and somehow it is not incitement?” Jordan appeared in an appearance with rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., Said.
“But when the president says ‘let your voice be heard peacefully and patriotically’, are they going to accuse him?
“This is what Americans despise so much,” Jordan continued. ‘There are many things they hate about this town [Washington]. They hate it when we spend their money on crazy things. But what they mostly hate is the hypocrisy and double standard that the elite have in this city.
