Jillian Michaels likes that people use quarantine to focus on their health during home exercises, but she also emphasizes that the importance of gyms will be clear when we are ‘normal’ again.
The fitness guru joined “TMZ Live” and said that the silver lining in the pandemic-plagued year is people finding creative ways to stay in shape when the coronavirus is forcing gyms to shut down nationwide.
That said … Jillian said there is something to be said about the benefits a gym offers. And it does not matter if it is a large gym, a boutique gym or even just a yoga class … the benefits range from a social environment to the intensity of personal instruction.
Jillian does not beat home workouts. Far from it. In fact … she likes all the options tolfietse, workout apps – she has a very popular app – and other devices. But in a post-pandemic fitness life … she anticipates people signing up for what she calls a hybrid model.
