Jessie J diagnosed with Ménière’s disease is deaf in the right ear

Singer Jessie J’s hearing and balance problems are caused by a syndrome that affects the inner ear, the singer announced on Instagram Live over the weekend.

She struggles to hear from her right ear, she said.

“I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, unable to walk in a straight line,” Jessie J explained about symptoms she was experiencing. “Actually, I was told I had Ménière’s syndrome.”

The singer “Bang Bang” (32) continued in her explanation and said: “I know a lot of people suffer from it and I have actually had a lot of people come to me and give me good advice, so I ‘I just lay still . ‘

Ménière’s disease can occur at any age, but is commonly seen in young and middle-aged adults and, according to the Mayo Clinic, is a disorder of the inner ear that can lead to dizziness and vertigo. “In most cases, Ménière’s disease affects only one.”
