Jessica Pegula, the daughter of the owners of Buffalo Bills, Kim and Terry Pegula, fell in the semi-finals of the Australian Open against fellow American Jennifer Brady on Wednesday in Melbourne.

Pegula won the first set, 6-4, in the first set Brady has lost so far during the entire tournament.

But Pegula could not gain the advantage from there as Brady won the next two sets, 6-2, 6-1, to clinch the match and advance to the semi-finals.

It was Pegula’s first appearance in a Grand Slam quarterfinal.

Pegula defeated two-time Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka and 5th seed Elina Svitolina to reach the quarter-finals against Brady.

Brady will face Karolina Muchova in a semifinal, with Serena Williams facing Naomi Osaka on the other end of the innings.
