Jessica Alba remembers the moment when her daughter realized she was famous: ‘She was killed’

Jessica Alba’s daughter was in a rude awakening when she discovered her mother’s fame.

Alba, who is the mother of three children – Honor, 12, Haven, 9, and Hayes, 3 – paid a virtual visit to ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Friday. During her appearance, Alba discussed her three little ones and how she had to explain her familiar status to her oldest child.

Host tWitch asked the star (39) if her children know how cool and big she is, but she admitted that her children think she is ‘so creepy’.

“They think I’m the meanest mom, I’m the definition of makeup. They actually said I should use #CringeyMom,” Alba explained. “I’m like, ‘It’s so mean. “I’m like, ‘There are so many more creepy moms than I am, guys,’ and they’re like, ‘Even saying that, Mom, is creepy.’

The ‘LA’s Finest’ alum then explained that ‘they did not know’ that she was an actress for the ‘start of their life’.

“I remember when Honor was in first grade, she was dead and she came home, she was like, ‘Why didn’t you tell me? ‘, Remember the actress. ‘I was like’ What? ‘Because she knew I worked for The Honest Company, that’s how they knew me. She was like, ‘You never told me you were going to be in grocery stores or in Target.’

Alba’s face is not only widely recognizable because of her work on screen, but also because she is the co-founder and face of The Honest Company, an ethical consumer-oriented business.

During the interview, Alba also discussed The Honest Company’s latest effort: conscious cleaners, which according to Alba are ‘100% inspired by COVID’. The products “reduce your carbon footprint” by using reusable containers, she said at the show.

Despite being involved with The Honest Company, Alba has also maintained her acting career, recently appearing with Gabrielle Union in ‘LA’s Finest’. The cancellation of the program after two seasons was announced in October 2020.
