Jerry Seinfeld addresses Larry King interview where they seem to be getting mad at each other

Jerry Seinfeld shared a touching tribute to Larry King who touched on their infamous 2007 uncomfortable interview moment.

King died Saturday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ora Media, the studio and network he co-founded, said in a statement. No cause of death was given, but he was admitted to hospital with a COVID-19 infection, according to several media reports.

After his death, people threw away old maintenance grips from the 87-year-old’s decades-long career. Among the tracks that are receiving renewed attention is one that went viral after Seinfeld appeared frustrated over whether his striking sitcom from the 1990s had been canceled.

Seinfeld paid tribute to the crowd of celebrities at the late-night interview icon on Twitter over the weekend, where he touched on the track to note that it was all a joke.

“Always loved Larry King and will miss him. The ‘canceled’ bit was just me having fun with his little mistake. Nothing more. Or less. #RipLarry,” he wrote.

At the time, Seinfeld was on CNN’s ‘Larry King Live’ to promote ‘Bee Movie’ when King asked if the comedian had decided to end ‘Seinfeld’ or if NBC had canceled the show.

“You gave it up, didn’t you?” Ask King. “You canceled them, they did not cancel you.”

As Yahoo Entertainment notes, Jerry is not the only “Seinfeld” star who playfully downplayed the late interviewer. Some people on Twitter shared a part of King interviewing Julia Louis-Dreyfus, where he asked her about a ‘man’s name’, which apparently misses the hyphen as a middle name.
