Hall of Fame recipient Jerry Rice has sometimes been named the best player in NFL history, but Rice says he will hand over the status to Tom Brady.

Rice said on 95.7 The Game today that he believes he has played football in a more difficult time than Brady, but he will still refer to those who call Brady the best.

‘I do not have seven Super Bowl rings, but I think I played in an era when football was more of a contact sport. You see a lot of it now – players are protected, “said Rice. “If you have seven rings, you’re doing something right. I think with Brady he still wants to play. He said something about playing until he was 45. I think he can do it now in this league because players are so much more protected. So, yes, he can have that BOK status. I never wanted that status anyway. ”

In 2010, NFL Network released a ranking of the Top 100 Players of All Time by Rice No. 1 had. Another similar list will definitely have Brady at the top.
