After the streamer, AverageHarry, was banned perma because of his account he created before the age of 13, Twitch viewers pointed out that other streamers in a similar position did not have the same consequences.
Twitch regularly faces setbacks over their decision to ban certain people, often leading to confusion about what exactly the rules allow.
In the October DMCA drama, many big streamers stripped their content channels for fear of a removal, and Twitch’s TOS policy change that restricts the use of words like ‘simp’ streamed streamers for fear of unintentionally breaking the rules.
The 15-year-old streamer, AverageHarry, was denied a Twitch partnership earlier in January because he made his bill before the age of 13, after waiting 72 days for a response to his application.
for anyone wondering, so there will be a video talking about everything tomorrow. I may make another account, but I just lost 90,000 followers https://t.co/B68SpBjZGF

Although it was already a tough blow, the case was exacerbated when he was banned from perma on January 23rd. He made it clear on Twitter that: “I may make another account, but I have just lost 90,000 followers.”
But now Twitch users notice some inconsistencies in Twitch’s decision to ban Harry, as popular streamers of a similar age are not treated in the same way.
One Redditor pointed out that the hugely popular 16-year-old striker TommyInnit apparently made his bill when he was 11, but did not have the same issues regarding the status of and partners. The user calls it ‘gross hypocrisy’ of Twitch.
Tommyinnit’s Twitch account was created when he was 11 years old. Gross hypocrisy of Twitch or what? by r / LivestreamFail
Another commenter pointed out that several Fortnite streamers are all in a similar position, and some of them probably started their accounts when they were under 13 years old.
No way Twitch would actually do that.
– Age when account was created
Bugha (3.8 million fans) – 12 years old
Benjyfishy (2.8 million followers) – 10 years old
Mongral (3.8 million followers) – 12 years old
Fresh (3.9 million followers) – 10 years old
TommyInnit (3.3 million followers) – 11 years old– ONSCREEN (@onscreenlol) 23 January 2021
If Twitch finally implemented a perma ban for all the streamers who made their account when they were under 13, even if they exceeded that age, it would definitely bring bad news for many large communities on the site.
However, it is also possible that there are conditions within the Twitch TOS that take into account these discrepancies, which means that some streamers are still allowed to keep their account according to the rules, even if they made their account before the age of 13 .
Harry revealed that he only signed up with Twitch two months before he turned 13 and said, “I spent two years and almost 2000 hours just to take it away because I signed up 2 months earlier.”
actually sad man, I spent 2 years and streamed almost 2000 hours just to take it away because I signed up 2 months early.
I’m posting a video with my new account tomorrow, it’s appreciated if you could all share

Harry fans are now looking for answers on Twitch for the confusing situation.
However, it remains to be seen whether other streamers will suffer any similar consequences as those of Harry.
