Former NBA star Jeremy Lin has commented on Ibrahimovic’s statement about James on his Instagram page.
James, 36, is one of the most accomplished athletes in the world.
The four-time MVP has used his platform several times to bash former President Donald Trump. In addition, James used his voice to raise awareness about police brutality, racism and more.
In fact, James’ penchant for commenting on social issues has increased his status in the sports world.
Richard Jefferson, who won a championship with James in 2016, recently highlighted how the veteran’s ability to talk about difficult topics reflects that of other great athletes.
As for Lin, he is also a big proponent of athletes using their space to discuss non-sports issues. The 2019 champion recently discussed how racist players called him disturbingly ‘coronavirus’ on the basketball floor.
