According to a new report, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s children were just as dumbfounded as fans when they had early reports of their split.
The power couple, who have been engaged since 2019, dispelled rumors that they had stopped their engagement on Saturday and said in a statement to Fox News that they were “working through some things”.
TMZ, citing sources, now reports that Lopez’s 13-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha (16) and Ella (12), shed ‘many tears’ when reports first appeared in which claimed that the pair were finished.
Their four children from previous marriages have remained a priority, according to the outlet, in a ‘long conversation’ the couple recently had over their relationship. This is apparently also one of the reasons why the former Yankees player flew to the Dominican Republic to reunite with the Latin superstar, who is there reuniting the filming of the upcoming movie, “Shotgun Wedding”.

Rodriguez posted an Instagram story of a tropical place on Monday with the caption: “Happy Monday. New week. New day. Walking. Up.” He also showed how to draw baseball tickets while on a private flight.
Over the weekend, a TMZ photographer caught up with Rodriguez on his way to a gym in Florida. Asked if he is single, the former MLB pro replies: ‘I’m not [single]”None.”
Rodriguez and the “On the Floor” singer (51) issued a joint statement on Saturday in which they explained that reports about the end of their relationship were ‘inaccurate’.

“All the reports are inaccurate. We’re working through some things,” read the couple’s joint statement shared with Fox News.

A source further told Fox News that reports of their dissolution were premature, but that the two had recently experienced problems.
“They hit a rough patch, but are working on it,” the source said.

Much of the breaking speculation stems from a Page Six report that points to an earlier rumor surfacing earlier this year about Rodriguez and Madison LeCroy, the ‘Southern Charm’ star. However, a source told Fox News that a third party ‘does not’ contribute to the couple’s recent problems.
‘Jennifer and Alex have much bigger things – like businesses and their [respective] children – to worry, “a source told Fox News, noting that a third party was” not involved “in their recent issues.

The two dated in February 2017 before getting engaged in March 2019. Lopez shares Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Rodriguez is with daughters Ella and Natasha along with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
