Jennifer Lopez recreates ‘Love Do Not Cost A Thing’ 20 years later

Jennifer Lopez is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her “J.Lo” album in style this weekend, recreating the now infamous music video for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” two decades later.

“Happy 20th anniversary for my 2nd album J.Lo !!!! Had some fun during a recent recording,” she showed a caption on a video on social media showing her walking down the beach to the song, and pulls her clothes out in the sand.

Some of the hashtags she used were #LoveDontCostAThingChallenge, which she also shared on Twitter. “The #LoveDontCostAThingChallenge BEGINS NOW !!!!” she tweeted excitedly. “Can’t wait to see your versions.”

However, she did not get too much relaxation – and the answers she done was absolutely hilarious.

“Not a challenge for littering,” joked one follower who tweeted the video again – a post that yielded 82K preferences. “You want us all to rush to the beach in a pan de queso to see our friends throw away good jewels? I’m so confused,” reads another response that has been held more than 22,000 times.

“Yeah, we have to throw our valuables on the beach?” joked another fan. “Is the challenge of locating it after we throw it away, can we not afford to replace it?!? What are the instructions?!?! ?????”

“Girl, it’s too cold for that,” another follower posted – while one follower added: “We’re in a panini, we’ve not got our second obstacle yet and you want us to go out and shit to throw away in the sand? !? “

If you search the hashtag yourself on Twitter, there will be a bunch of tweets merely commenting on the lack of relaxation … or people hoping for renditions of Nick Cannon’s dance moves in the movie “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” .

However, there were a few videos on Instagram – including one that swapped the white sand for snow.
