Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey have just broken Instagram. The two “Wedding Planner” stars reunited Monday via Instagram Live for the film’s 20-year existence and reveal interesting behind-the-scenes knowledge in the process.
In discussing the film, Lopez and McConaughey, both 51, reflected on the kissing scene, especially with fond memories.
‘We’ve both done a lot since then [the Wedding Planner]… but it still feels a bit like it was in the middle of the field with the movie theater yesterday, ‘Lopez recalled before dropping the bomb question for McConaughey.
“Do you remember that scene where you wanted to kiss me?” she asked him.

Jennifer Lopez was reunited via Instagram Live on Monday with her ‘Wedding Planner’ co-star Matthew McConaughey for the film’s 20-year existence and in the process revealed interesting knowledge behind the scenes.

“I remember you saying to me, I do not know if you remember, but you said, ‘Mrs Lopez, I’m going to kiss you now,’ ‘Lopez recalled with a humorous McConaughey bow as the two in the laughter erupted.
“I was like, ‘Okay, let’s do it! Let’s get it!'” Lopez replied.

The two further discussed other memorable scenes from the film, including the dump scene where Lopez’s character is rescued by McConaughey.

“One of my favorite lines on the whole, one of the reasons I like the text, was, ‘You smell like grilled cheese and plums,’ I think, it’s probably one of the best smells in the world,” Remember Lopez laughing. “It was just the idea of her disappearing, and this Prince Charming just saved her and said, ‘You smell like grilled cheese and plums.'”
McConaughey remembers when Lopez almost hurt her ankle while filming the scene, thinking the ‘All I Have’ singer was ‘baller’.
