Jennifer Garner is open for ‘Alias’ reload: ‘Sign me in’

Jennifer Garner has good news for fans of ‘Alias’.

In a new interview, the actress (48) recently revealed that she is open to a recharge of the popular espionage thriller, which was presented on ABC from 2001 to 2006.

“Sign me up,” Garner told the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday. “[I’ll] Bradley flu [Cooper — her former co-star and dear friend] to the scrub of his neck. ‘

‘Alias’ sees Garner portray Sydney Bristow, a dual agent for the CIA, as an operator for the SD-6 criminal organization, while keeping her identity a secret from family and friends.

The JJ Abrams-produced espionage series starred Garner, Ron Rifkin and Cooper.

Although Garner has shown interest in a recharge, nothing has yet been confirmed regarding the return of the series.

In a 2018 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Garner spoke again about a possible recharge of ‘Alias’ and revealed that it would be ‘totally different’.

“I heard there was a recharge from Alias, but no one spoke to me about it,” she said. “I mean, it would be completely different. But if they did not treat me like a guest, I would be very, very angry. ‘

“But I can not imagine that it is still so serious, because I have not heard anything about it,” she added at the time.

Garner also opened up in the same interview about her divorce from Ben Affleck.

Meanwhile, in her latest interview with the publication, Garner also spoke about her divergent split from Ben Affleck in 2015 and recalled the dream she thought she lost after the divorce.

“Going through it in public is not what’s difficult, it’s what’s difficult, A ‘, she said of the divorce, which was finalized in 2018. “And B, my kids’ eyes are on me.”

In a Vanity Fair interview in 2016 after the split news, Garner ‘[losing] the dream to dance with [her] man by [her] daughter’s wedding ”- but now that Garner and Affleck have successfully developed solid skills in collaboration with parenting, the actress is no longer worried.

“If our kids get married, we’ll dance, I know that now,” Garner said. “We’ll be bowing and having a good time. I’m not worried about that anymore.”

Garner shares three children – Violet (15), Seraphina (12) and Samuel (9) – with Affleck. The couple untied the knot in 2005 before saying goodbye ten years later.
