Jared Veldheer will become 1st player in NFL history to play for 2 different teams in the same post-season

Offensive linebacker Jared Veldheer, who filled in for Indianapolis Colts left-back Anthony Castonzo during the AFC Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills, will tackle the Green Bay Packers in their NFC division round with the Los Angeles Rams.

Veldheer is expected to play a vital role for the Packers, who will be without Pro Bowl’s back tackle David Bakhtiari after suffering a torn ACL late in the year.

According to ESPN, Veldheer will be the first player in league history to play for two teams in the same post-season. The only reason Veldheer may sign with the Packers is because he was in the Colts’ training group.

COVID-19 training group rules are the only reason it was made possible.

AARON RODGERS OF PACKAGERS reveals that he ‘JEOPARDIE!’

Since making his NFL debut in 2010, Veldheer has played in 121 games for five different teams, including the Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos and the Colts. Veldheer, who is at 6 feet-8 and £ 321 pounds, retired after an eight-day battle with the New England Patriots last season. Finally, a few months later, he played briefly with the Packers, which lasted four games, including playoffs.

In September, he retired despite a contract offer from the Dallas Cowboys. However, his second retirement lasted just three months after the Colts brought him to the team in December.

Now Veldheer will have the chance to stop NFL MVP frontrunner Aaron Rodgers. Potential in his path, Aaron Donald will be the three-time NFL defensive player of the year.
