Jared Leto may have won an Oscar in 2014, but the fate of his golden statuette remains a mystery.
Leto appeared in “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Tuesday, revealing that he misplaced his precious possessions when he moved to a new home in Los Angeles, California.
“I did not know it – I do not think anyone wanted to tell me,” Leto, 49, revealed to Corden. “But I moved houses in LA and when we moved, it kind of disappeared.”
“It may be somewhere, but everyone was looking for it high and low,” the singer of the Thirty Seconds to Mars continued. “I hope it is in good hands wherever it is. We have not seen it for a long time.”

When Corden pressed on Leto the question of whether anyone really had the award in their possession, Leto remained hopeful about its existence.
“I think it’s a good possibility, it’s not something someone accidentally throws in the bin,” Leto replied. “I hope someone takes care of it. I remember the night I got it, I passed it on to so many people.”

“It was hit and scratched, but people made it fun to take photos with. It’s fun to share, so hopefully someone will take care of it,” Leto concluded.
