The 37-year-old One Tree Hill alum went to Instagram on Monday to tell how daughter Jolie got lost while the family was playing in a park.

Jana told the story of every parent’s worst nightmare and wrote: ‘If the absolutely most terrifying thing happened in the park today? We took the kids with us because it was a nice day and we had to climb out to a park we know and love. ‘
“We swerved down the slides and had a good time. Jolie met a sweet little girl and they started running around. I watch my kids like hawks, but Jolie runs around the playhouse, so it was hard to see her sometimes. Needless to say, I’ve always been watching her, ‘Christmas continues in the Mississippi star.

“My heart went straight to my gut and I said WHAT? !!! I immediately ran as fast as I could to the parking lot where I then saw Jolie and the little girl get behind in the car to which the little girl’s mother was in the car. ‘
“I held on to Jolie so quickly and held my breath and tried to eliminate all the ‘what ifs’ through my brain … It was an eye-opening experience, especially for someone like me who is super present.”
