After weeks of rumors, the Brooklyn Nets have forged a deal for former NBA MVP James Harden to give the Nets a third superstar to go along with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. While we have to wait to see all three speak at the same time, the game on Saturday night offers fans the opportunity to see Harden and Durant in action. After two quarters in Brooklyn, it was the Nets who had a slim lead over the Magic as Harden scored eight points, seven assists and five rebounds in the first 24 minutes.
After the instant match with four teams agreed on Wednesday, the Nets were the talk of the association and they will now have to prove that this trio can meet the hype. Saturday’s clash with the Magic will not give the basketball world a true sense of what the Nets can go on, as it would still be without Irving, but Harden and Durant still provide a lot of intrigue on their own.
