Jamal Murray leaves the Nuggets game early with an apparent knee injury

The Denver Nuggets welcomed Jamal Murray back in Monday night’s series against Golden State. After missing the Nuggets the past three games with pain in the right knee, Murray returned to the starting lineup and he played pretty well, scoring 17 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the field, 1-out-5 of outside the three-point line.

Murray did everything when the Nuggets tried to return a fourth quarter until he sustained a left knee injury while going up. I have not yet mustered the courage to take a closer look at the video, but here it is:

It’s important to note that this is a different leg than Murray’s hurt, but hopefully it’s nothing more than a small adjustment. The wagon came out for Murray, but we all know what type of player he is as he walks off the floor without it:

We will continue to update Murray’s status as soon as we hear anything, but all we can do from now on is pray that it is nothing serious and that he will return sooner rather than later!
