Jake Paul and Ben Askren are both preparing for big pay days this weekend.
The two meet in a boxing match that takes place at a thriller Fight Club event in Atlanta on Saturday, and their base salaries for the highly advanced match were announced to MMA Fighting by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission on Friday. Paul will earn $ 690,000 while Askren’s payment starts at $ 500,000.
It is not yet known what percentage of the pay-per-view winnings each fighter will receive and also not what other bonuses they will be eligible for.
Super lightweight Regis Prograis leads the list of announced salaries at $ 850,000, while his opponent Ivan Redkach will receive $ 250,000 for the competitive match.
Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir has earned $ 350,000 in his pro boxing debut against Steve Cunningham.
