The Jacksonville Jaguars will need more than just this concept to get their team back on track.
Competition is not going to be next season’s name. It will be a rebuilding year. Trevor Lawrence is not going to change that. However, the Jaguars have four choices in the first two rounds of the 2021 NFL draft. I do not expect the team to trade up and down for anyone, but I will not rule it out either. I think the Jags will take what they got and choose the best prospects based on need … It’s almost every position.
With that said, here’s my seven round 2021 NFL spot concert for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jaguars include Lawrence with top pick
No surprises here, right?
Trevor Lawrence is the best forward since Andrew Luck. We all said about Joe Burrow last year, but if I could describe Trevor Lawrence as a player, he’s like a pretty mobile Peyton Manning. Scary, or how?
Lawrence can make any throw on the field. He expands plays effortlessly through his pocket movement, and he can scurry like a seasoned pro and throw thumbs up on the flight along the sideline. All he has to do is work on getting his progress through faster, and he may be an All-Pro sooner rather than later.
Gardner Minshew is not the answer, and neither is Mike Glennon. It’s a no-brainer here to take the future of the franchise with the first choice.
