When Urban Meyer held his introductory press conference in January, he emphasized the importance of appointing an excellent coaching staff.

Jacksonville has now completed the process and on Thursday announced the list of the 31 staff members.

As previously reported, Darrell Bevell is the attacking coordinator of the team, Joe Cullen the defensive coordinator, Brian Schneider the special team coordinator, and Brian Schottenheimer is the coordinator passing the game. Charlie Strong is Jacksonville’s assistant head coach and coach of the lineouts.

Meyer retained five members of the previous coaching staff in offensive coach George Warhop, cornerback Tim Walton, defensive back coach Joe Danna, assistant coach Tony Gilbert, and assistant coach Cedric Scott.

Elsewhere in the attack, Jacksonville named the Sanjay Lal coach for coaches, the coach of Tyler Bowen, the coach of Bernie Parmalee, the attacking coach of Todd Washington, the offensive quality control of Quinton Ganther and the attacking assistant of Will Harriger.

In defense, the Jaguars have defensive coach Tosh Lupoi, linebacker coach Zach Orr, safety coach Chris Ash, assistant coach Tony Gilbert, coach Sterling Lucas, quality control coach Patrick Reilly, and senior defense assistant Bob Sutton, hired.

Carlos Polk is Jacksonville’s assistant coach for special teams.

Meyer’s group also includes Chris Doyle as director of sports performance, who received a $ 1.1 million severance deal from Iowa last June after allegations that he made racist and derogatory remarks to players. Per die Associated Press, Doyle denies any “unethical behavior or prejudice” based on race.
