Ivanka Trump shared photos of herself getting a coronavirus vaccine on her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Wednesday, but was flooded with comments from people who were angry with her because she got the chance.

Trump encouraged others to be vaccinated and wrote, “Today I got the chance! I hope you do too!”

But several people have replied that they would not do the same, and some are spreading conspiracy theories about the vaccine.

Many users simply posted messages such as ‘No’, ‘No’ or ‘Why?’ Others claim she’s making a mistake.

The Associated Press reports that she received the Pfizer vaccine in Florida, which qualifies for people 16 and older. She said in a statement to the AP that “getting vaccinated is the best way to defeat this virus and protect ourselves and others.”

The AP reports, citing two sources, that Trump was eligible for vaccination when she worked at the White House, but preferred to wait.

As Insider’s Eliza Relman reports, Trump is the first member of her immediate family to announce that she has been vaccinated. Her father, former President Donald Trump, was silent vaccinated next to the first lady in January.
