‘It looks like Kelly Dodd from RHOC is being called out by stepdaughter

Kelly Dodd’s proclamation that she was a black woman during the reunion of the real season ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ in season 15 did not go down well with most viewers, including her own stepdaughter.

Veronica Leventhal, daughter of Dodd’s husband, Rick Leventhal, took to Instagram shortly after the reality star argued that she could not be black people racist because she herself is black.

However, she is sure that she will never mention her stepmother’s name.

“I do not think it is good that people who say they have experienced racism and prejudice should then turn around and inflict the same evils on other people,” Veronica begins in a clip posted on Twitter. ‘I do not think you can experience the privileges of whiteness and then turn around and deny that those privileges exist.

‘I do not think you can claim ownership of a culture or nationality and then allow privileges to those people, whether political perspectives or just subject them in other ways. And I do not think you can use your multiculturalism as a shield for people who say you have prejudice. ‘

She concluded: “If you want to argue about racism, you need to have a basic understanding of the difference between race, ethnicity and nationality.”

Before her October wedding to Leventhal, Dodd was hacked for wearing a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat on her bridal shower. She also came under fire for a new clip of 2016 in which she claims that she ‘[doesn’t] like black guys. ”

“I don’t even know black guys,” she said.

Dodd has also previously claimed that she experiences ‘racism’ as a woman of color. ‘
