The Chamber of Deputies accepts the amendments made by the Senate of the Republic to the Ley project which modify the Civil Code and to enforce the infantry and the Ley district.
To be accepted by the plenum of the deputies, the named Ley pasará el Poder Ejecutivo which can be observed or promulgated.
It was approved by the Chamber of Deputies in subsequent consecutive lectures in November, the paragraph amending Article 144 and Article 145 of the Civil Code of the Dominican Republic, passed by the Senate and derived from the Standing Committee on Justice fueron hechas modifications.

The initiative was put forward by the deputy José Horacio Rodríguez and received favorable information from the Commission of Justice of the Cámara Baja.
With the approval of this draft resolution, Article 144 of the Civil Code is amended to establish the following: “The man or woman may not oppose matrimony in any case before the age of 18”.
In the same way, it eliminates Article 145, which states that “without embarrassment, the Governor may, for serious reasons, grant dispensations of oath”.
