The Chamber of Deputies accepts the amendments made by the Senate of the Republic to the Ley project which modify the Civil Code and to enforce the infantry and the Ley district.

With the approval of this draft resolution, Article 144 of the Civil Code is amended to establish the following: “The man or woman may not oppose matrimony in any case before the age of 18”.

In the same way, it eliminates Article 145, which states that “without embarrassment, the Governor may, for serious reasons, grant dispensations of oath”.
