The Dominican-Haitian frontier has always been at the center of diplomatic relations between nations, with the irregular migration flow being a point of contention for both parties.
For this reason, the need to increase the vigilance of the dividing line of the island has a frequent theme for the Dominican authorities. The administration of Luis Abinader presents an alternative to the problematic: modernize the front establishing a species of technological perimeter to free the illegal entry of documented to the length of the dividing line.
