Is Warzone coming to CoD Mobile? New evidence points to possible Verdansk plans

If a recent survey is to be believed, the Warzone map Verdansk may plan to come to Call of Duty: Mobile’s Battle Royale mode in the near future.

If you’re a Call of Duty: Mobile fan, but you want a new Battle Royale card to sink your teeth into, this may be good news for you.

In a recent survey shared by Twitter users and CoD leaker ModernWarzone, Activision directly asks players if they are interested in a new battle of royal cards that will come after the game, specifically mentioning Warzone’s Verdansk card and Black Ops 4’s Blackout card as candidates.

Activision

A new survey may indicate that Verdansk is coming from Warzone to Call of Duty: Mobile.

Of course, this is not infallible evidence that Verdansk is going to come to the game, but it seems that Activision is at least considering it, which does make sense.

Verdansk has been available since Warzone was introduced to the public and Call of Duty: Mobile does receive content from Modern Warfare and Warzone from time to time, while the AS VAL will be coming to the game in the near future.

With speculation and leaks about Verdansk blowing up in April 2021 and possibly being removed from the game, it also makes sense that Activision wants the card to survive somehow after it’s gone in the main title.

However, this is by no means a confirmation that Verdansk is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile, and even if it is, it could take a while for fans to see it in the game, especially when we see how big and detailed it is .

Interestingly, a mailing list indicated that a version of Warzone was available for mobile devices last year, so it’s unclear if this is still the plan or if the developers just want to bring the map to the full mobile game right now.

If Verdansk does come, it will not be surprising if serious changes have to be made to the map itself. Maybe we finally get a cut-off version, or we get nothing related to the map. Only time will tell.
