An iPhone 12 Pro prototype has just surfaced and it offers an interesting look at the latest version of Apple’s nonUI version of iOS 14 called SwitchBoard, along with an early version of what became the hugely popular Pacific Blue color .
Guilio Zompetti shared two photos of the iPhone 12 Pro prototype on Twitter today. The first image gives a look at the latest version of SwitchBoard, a non-UI version of iOS 14. It is used as an internal tool with various tools. Apple uses SwitchBoard to test a variety of features with new iPhones.
Utilities we’ve seen in previous versions of SwitchBoard are here like Console, USBHost, QRCode, Reliability, as well as some newer ones like Ness and Astro.
It’s hard to see with what in the second photo below looks like dim lighting, but it’s possible that the Pacific Blue on this iPhone 12 Pro prototype may be slightly darker than what Apple decided with the final version.
