The latest is how the 6.1-inch model was recovered from the bottom of a lake in British Columbia and continued to work after being submerged for six months.

The free divers, Clayton Helkenberg, and Chilliwack divers, Heather, told CBC that after going down into a lake to look for lost items, they came across an iPhone 11. They also found a browser phone, but it was unfortunately badly damaged. The iPhone 11, on the other hand, was in an exceptional working condition, except for a broken microphone and a few speakers.
“I took it home, cleaned the dirt and it just turned on right, so it was pretty amazing.”
After the SIM was thrown out and placed in another device to contact the owner, it was found that the iPhone 11 belonged to Fatemeh Ghodsi, the resident of Vancouver. The iPhone 11 was reportedly dropped during a boat trip, and staff members told Ghodsi that it was impossible to repair the smartphone.
Fate, on the other hand, had different intentions for the owner. After Ghodsi received a text message from her own number, she thought it was her friends who had made a joke of her, but she was later persuaded to pick up her iPhone.
‘I was in a situation where I lost a balance and dropped it in the water. I was completely shocked, initially to begin with. It was like a zombie phone coming back to me because I would make complete peace with it being gone. ‘
