Iowa exceeds 2 million doses of COVID-19 administered

EDITOR’S NOTE: The daily numbers we report do not match the numbers the state reports for each day. Every day at 10:00 we take the previous day’s numbers from 10:00 and subtract them from the current numbers at 10:00 from the state. Instead of reporting a day later, we want to give you the latest information. For Black Hawk and Linn Counties, we report numbers from their COVID-19 sites. For Johnson and Dubuque counties, we report numbers from the state’s website.

IOWA

(KWWL) – According to the state’s dashboard, there were 115 new, confirmed cases from 10:00 to Friday 10:00, bringing the state’s total number of cases to 359 260.

The state’s website says 339,990 of the 359,260 people who tested positive recovered. The number of recoveries reported yesterday was 340 003.

The state reports 8 additional COVID-19 deaths, with a death toll of 5,878.

Subtracting the number of repairs (339,990) and the number of deaths (5,878) from the total number of cases (359,260) shows that there are currently 13,392 active positive cases in the state.

As of Saturday morning, there have been 57 patients hospitalized in Iowa in the past 24 hours and the total number of hospitalizations is 233, up from 226. Of those, 50 are in the ICU (same number as yesterday), and 19 are on ventilators (same number of yesterday).

In Iowa, 539 people have been tested in the last 24 hours, and a total of 1,677,920 people have been tested on COVID-19.

According to the state’s COVID-19 vaccine panel, 1,930,774 doses were administered to Iowa residents as of Saturday morning and 851,762 individuals completed the series. BLACK HAWK LAND

From 10 a.m. Saturday, the Black Hawk COVID-19 Dashboard shows 16 new cases since Friday 10:00 10:00, leaving a total of 16 624 cases. There were 11 additional repairs, leaving a total of 14,840. There were no additional deaths, leaving a total of 306 deaths. In Black Hawk County, 36,630 residents were completely vaccinated.

LINN COUNTY

From 10 a.m. Saturday, the Linn County COVID-19 Dashboard shows 39 new cases since Friday 10:00, leaving a total of 20 297 cases. There were 21 additional recoveries, totaling 18,777. There were no additional deaths, leaving a total of 339 deaths in the country. There are currently 5 patients admitted to the country. In Linn County, 62,383 residents were completely vaccinated.

JOHNSON COUNTY

According to the state dashboard Saturday at 10 a.m. There have been 20 new positive cases in Johnson County since 10 a.m. Friday. This brings the total to 14 017 reported cases. There are a total of 13,208 repairs, which is 3 subtracted from the number of 13,211 from yesterday. Another death was reported, totaling 81. In Johnson County, 48,497 residents were completely vaccinated.

DUBUQUE-LAND

The COVID-19 state dashboard numbers in Dubuque County have have not been yet updated. Here are some of Friday:

According to the state dashboard Friday at 10 a.m. There have been 18 additional positive cases reported in Dubuque County since 10 a.m. Thursday. This brings the total to 13,127 reported cases. Six additional recoveries were reported, leaving a total of 12,341. No additional deaths were reported, leaving a total of 202. In Dubuque County, 30,254 residents were completely vaccinated.
