Internet Unites for Amazing Wii Shop Channel Jam Session

Composer, musician and YouTuber Alex Moukala yesterday released a funky, bass-tastic remix of the Nintendo Wii theme music on Twitter and invited other artists to do the same. The result is an impromptu jam session full of super-talented people showing their love for one of the game’s strangest songs.

Moukala, whose music is in trailers for films such as Avengers: Endgame, and who can be seen regularly on his YouTube channel to break down his favorite video game soundtracks, kicked things off by adding a funky bassline to the Wii console’s home menu music.

The Italian composer called on others to take part, share the necessary audio files for them to contribute their own music. ‘I think it will sound even better with more instruments, so I invite any musician to join me and their recording with a #MiiChannelJam hutsteken! “
