Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger seem to be working again after major problems plagued the apps for about an hour on Friday. According to reports on DownDetector, the problems started appearing around three o’clock PT with the three Facebook apps.

People, including us here at CNET, got bugs when they tried to send messages on WhatsApp and Messenger. The Instagram app did not show new posts and instead said, “Could not refresh the feed.”

Facebook said the issues have now been resolved, but the company does not provide details on what caused the problems.

“Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some Facebook services,” a company spokesman said in an email. “We have solved this problem for everyone, and we apologize for the inconvenience.”

In a tweet earlier Friday, the Facebook Gaming Account said there are ” a number of issues currently affecting Facebook products, including game streams. ‘

As usual, many people have turned to other social media sites to sparking trends on Twitter.
