Instagram adds ‘Professional Dashboard’ for creators

Instagram is launching a new Professional Dashboard that will serve as a central destination for tracking the performance of posts and gaining access to ‘professional tools’.

Instagram says the new Professional Dashboard has three key features. First, it helps creators track performance by providing insights and trends based on the performance of an account. Second, Instagram claims the tools on offer will help creators grow their business. They have easy access to tools you used to manage their account more efficiently, and also look for new tools they may not have known. They can also check the monetization status and its suitability. Finally, Instagram says that the dashboard will help creators stay informed and how to make optimal use of Instagram through composite educational resources.

If some of these features do not sound new, it is because they are not. Instagram admits that many of the features folded in the Dashboard already exist on Instagram, but says that it would be easier to access one central location, as well as to find the specific tools or resources that a creator is looking for. or looking for business. their specific use case.

Instagram says that the Professional Dashboard was created because of the success it has seen with other business-oriented tools like Badges, Instagram Shop, Checkout and branded content.

“Since its launch in November, more than 82 million accounts have visited the Professional Resources Center and 37 million accounts have used at least one item,” Instagram writes. “We have built on the momentum with the launch of the new Professional Dashboard, and will continue to improve the experience during 2021.”

The Professional Dashboard is available for all business and creator accounts on Instagram and starts today with Qualified Accounts.
