Injury Report: Buffalo Bills Healthier Than Kansas City Chiefs on Road to AFC Championship

While Patrick Mahomes has been removed from the concussion protocol, the Buffalo Bills are still healthier than the Kansas City Chiefs heading into the AFC championship game. The final injury report was released Friday afternoon.

For the Bills, only DT Vernon Butler and WR Gabriel Davis are doubtful after practicing on Friday. They were absent all week with four and ankle injuries respectively.

WR Cole Beasley (knee) returned on injury report on Thursday but was a full contestant on Friday. Similarly, Stefon Diggs was restricted on Wednesday and Thursday, but he trained fully on Friday and will be full on his playing day with his foursome injury.

For the Chiefs, Mahomes has to deal with turf then, but said he was fine after clearing concussion protocol. He’s going to play, but it remains to be seen how mobile he will be. LB Willie Gay was declared with a high sprain of the ankle.

The Chiefs had a long list of questionable players on their final report; CB Bashaud Breeland (concussion), RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle / hip), CB Rashad Fenton (foot) and WR Sammy Watkins (calf) were restricted every day this week. RB Le’Veon Bell was a full participant on Wednesday but did not train on Thursday or Friday and was also questioned with a knee injury.

Injuries are probably a big storyline from the game, as in Week 6, when Buffalo were without Jon Feliciano and Matt Milano and Tre’Davious White, Tremaine Edmunds and Josh Allen were all plugged in but played.
