Increased number of flights between EE.UU. and RD in the middle of the pandemic

American Airlines announced an increase in six new frequent flyer flights to the Dominican Republic, with operations from and including the International Airport of Las Americas (AILA) of Santo Domingo and the Santiago International Airport, with destination in Philadelphia, Estad.

The Director-General of the United States for the Dominican Republic, Oliver Bojos, declares that the new frequencies of starters will begin in the month of April of this year 2021.

However, as part of the economic reactivation, the operations of the Santo Domingo airline are being incremented, with three additional flights a week to the Philadelphia International Airport.

Explaining that these flights will commence operations from the beginning of April this year, signaling that the aerodynamic airline is conducting a semi-annual frequency of flights to this destination from the Dominican Republic.

Assimilation, announced that from April 2, due to approval by the National Authorities, a new route will be provided, departing from the Santiago airport in Philadelphia. In this new route American Airlines will carry out three weekly flight operations on different days.

With respect to the equipment that will be used by the airline in the operation of these new aircraft, indicates that in the same will be used Boeing 737 aircraft with capacity for 172 passengers and will be available for reservation from this Saturday 30th of January.

Currently, North American airline offers more than 82 weekly flights from the country, connecting to Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Santiago and Puerto Plata with North American connection centers in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Miami and Philadelphia.
