Offensive lineman Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne 2022 Aamil Wagner got a big knock on the rankings this past football season. He is currently a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He is the country’s overall prospect of 2022 in the country, the number 9 attack and the no. 4-outlook in Ohio.
Wagner is also now a state recruit who offered the Ohio State Buckeyes a scholarship. Wagner posted on his Twitter account Monday night to present.
“Extremely blessed to receive an offer from Ohio State University,” Wagner posted on his Twitter account.
The 6-foot-6 and 250-pound Wagner, who has played offensive left-handed tackles this season, has more than two dozen scholarship offers that include the state of Ohio. Notre Dame, Michigan State, Penn State, Stanford, Oregon, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Northwestern, Kentucky, Nebraska, Pitt, Cincinnati and Purdue.
At the moment, I still keep my options open, “Wagner told Bucknuts in February. “As things get closer to the season, I’ll reduce it.”
Wagner is looking forward to when the NCAA will allow visits again.
“Right now, I want to visit all of my offerings,” Wagner said. ‘But first I’m going to drive to schools within driving distance. If they allow official visits, I want to take all five. ‘
The Buckeyes have been in regular contact with Wagner recently.
“I talk back and forth to coach (Greg) Stud (rawa),” Wagner said. “He likes my size and athletics. He’s talking about keeping my weight down. We talk a lot about football and getting to know me. (Ohio State has) good athletics and education. ”
With Wagner’s desire to officially visit, it will probably take some time before he makes his choice at the university.

They have commitments to the country’s overall prospect in five-star Quinn Ewers of Texas, five-star cornerback Jaheim Singletary of Florida, another 5-star in wide receiver Caleb Burton of Texas, four-star coach Kyion Grayes of Arizona, the number 1 prospect in Ohio and the country’s no. 2-back Gabe Powers, the No. 1 prospect in the state of Kansas in lineout Dasan McCullough, the prospect no. 2 in Ohio in lineout player CJ Hicks, the no. 4 prospect in the Buckeyes state in offensive line writer Tegra Tshabola, the prospect no. 5 in Ohio in the corner of Jyaire Brown, and two top targets in Bennett Christian of Georgia and Benji Gosnell of North Carolina. It’s a class of ten early commitments, and all 11 are 5 or a high 4-star outlook. This is a class that ranks in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruitment Rankings as the no. 1 in the country.
